Published as a separate textbook for liberal arts, liberal arts, and academic books
Incheon National University (President Park Jong-tae) announced that it has published three books this year.
The books published by Incheon National University Press are three types of independent books: the latest easy-to-reach programming language: Cotlin, a common textbook for liberal arts by Professor Hong Yoon-sik of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering; Lim Kyung-hwan of the Department of Biological Sciences; and Han Hye-jin of the Division of Design.
Professor Hong Yun-sik's "Easy-approaching Latest Programming Language: Cotlin" explains the related functions of the Cotlin language as a common liberal arts textbook, and deals with Cotlin basics, operators and flow control, and functions.
Professor Lim Kyung-hwan's "Walking, Resting, and Getting Old in the Mountain" is a liberal arts book that tells the individual story and life of the author who has felt climbing and descending mountains such as Seoraksan, Jirisan, Hallasan, Sobaeksan, and Bukhansan over the past 25 years.
Professor Han Hye-jin's "Secrets of Color" is a book containing theoretical knowledge obtained through various experiments under the theme of skin color and deals with preferred skin color, allowable range, color reproduction, memory color, facial perception, personal color, makeup, free visual, color vision abnormalities, 3D rendering, color homeostasis, and political correctness.
Meanwhile, Incheon National University Press held the "2024 Author Invitational Publishing Seminar" at the Haksan Library Seminar Room at 11 a.m. on the 23rd (Monday) to commemorate the publication of this year's book and renew interest in publication within the school, and 21 people, including professors and authors interested in publication, participated.
Kim Chang-hee, a professor of business administration who gave a lecture on "Why Did I Write a Book?" shared his know-how to write books little by little every day to write books and write easy contents considering various readership.
In addition, Incheon National University's Professor Yoon Young-don said, "We will encourage more authors to participate in publishing through guidance on publishing support, and try to revitalize our university's research and publishing culture through active support in the next year."
Incheon National University Press has published a total of 25 books with 20 authors so far, including three new books this year, and is expected to expand them further in the future.
